Utopia

A term derived from the Greek words ou (οὐ) meaning ‘no’ and topos (τόπος) meaning ‘place’, and used to designate a visionary or an ideally perfect state of society. The term was introduced in 1516 by Thomas More and has since been used as a generic term for political romances. It indicates an allegory and refers to an ideal place which is realistically impossible.
